What the deck does, and what it does not do

It does

  • Runs deterministic maritime calculations (laytime, UKC, emissions, voyage economics, identifier checks).
  • Shows sources, assumptions and data-confidence for each result.
  • Exports a printable report and keeps a session run history in your browser.

It does not

  • Control or command a vessel, or issue navigation instructions.
  • Show live AIS positions. No free real-time AIS feed is connected.
  • Replace charts, notices to mariners, the loading computer or the master's authority.
  • Report weather unless the licensed weather store is current. The deck says so when it is not.
